Nach dem erfolgreichen Projekt Unison im November 2025 setzt der Bulcanto Chor seine künstlerische Entwicklung mit einem neuen Frühlingskonzert fort.
Im Zentrum steht die vertiefte Auseinandersetzung mit einstimmigem Gesang und feiner Ausarbeitung der Gesangstechnik — erweitert durch ein Programm, das orthodoxe Musik, bulgarische Volksklänge und neue Arrangements miteinander verbindet.
Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Boryana Velichkova entfaltet sich ein vielschichtiges Klangbild in über zehn Sprachen, das Tradition und zeitgenössische Interpretation verbindet.
Begleitet wird der Chor von zwei herausragenden Musikern:
Adam Goodwin (Kontrabass) — Komponist, Performer und bildender Künstler mit internationaler Tätigkeit in Europa, Asien sowie Nord- und Südamerika.
Jack Day (Klavier & Orgel) — britisch-deutscher Musiker, Organist und Kantor der Luisenkirche, der die Kirche seit 2017 als lebendigen Ort für Musik und Rundfunk geprägt hat.

After the success of Unison in November 2025, Bulcanto Berlin continues its artistic journey with a new spring concert dedicated to the exploration of orthodox music and vocal unity.
At the heart of the project lies a deepened focus on unison singing and the refinement of vocal technique — expanding into a rich program that blends orthodox repertoire, Bulgarian folk elements, and original arrangements.
Under the artistic direction of Boryana Velichkova, the program unfolds across more than ten languages, creating a sonic landscape that is both rooted in tradition and open to transformation.
The musical experience is further shaped by two exceptional improvisers:
Adam Goodwin (double bass) — composer, performer and visual artist working internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
Jack Day (piano & organ) — British-German musician, organist and Kantor of the Luisenkirche since 2017, shaping it as a vibrant space for music and broadcast culture.
